The Central Oregon Symphony concludes its 51st season and presents guest trumpeter, Allen Vizzutti, who will perform Telemann’s “Concerto for Trumpet in D”. Mr. Vizzutti will also perform “Snow Scenes” written by none other than himself! Allen Vizzutti has visited over 60 countries and every state in the union to perform with a rainbow of artists and ensembles as both a classical and jazz artist. He has appeared as guest soloist with symphony orchestras, in recital, on television and in jazz venues around the world. Allen’s soaring trumpet sound can be heard on over 150 movie and game soundtracks including ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Back to the Future’. The concert will also feature the spectacular “Symphony No. 5” by Tchaikovsky. Evening concerts on Saturday, May 19th and Monday, May 21st, 2018 begin at 7:30, and the Sunday, May 20, 2018 matinee begins at 2:00 p.m., all at the Bend High School auditorium.
