February 22-23, a benefit for The Environmental Center. Two nights of high quality, thought-provoking films that celebrate mountain people, culture, adventure, conservation and the power of film to create social change.
The event showcases the very best of Mountainfilm in Telluride, Colorado, an annual film festival synonymous with the world’s finest filmmaking. Each night will feature different films.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Environmental Center, a local non-profit organization that works to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon; helping people live, work, play and learn in ways that will ensure a healthy future for people and the planet.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the tenth anniversary of bringing Mountainfilm on Tour to Central Oregon.” says Mike Riley, Executive Director of The Environmental Center. “These films help to educate, inspire and generate conversation in our community. This year’s line-up is a great mix of adventure and conservation from around the globe.”
The event includes a raffle sponsored by Skjersaa’s Sports Shop and Surface Skis with prizes that include a pair of skis both nights, outdoor gear and additional prize packages from local businesses. Raffle tickets will be sold each night at the event.
