The Central Oregon Songwriter’s Association will be hosting the 20th Anniversary COSA Song of the Year Awards at the Old Stone Church on May 4 at 6pm.
“The COSA Song of the Year Awards is like Central Oregon’s version of The Grammy Awards. It’s a pretty big deal and most all of Central Oregon’s best songwriters and musicians will be there,” explained Dennis Plant, a long-time COSA officer and Song of the Year award winner.
“This year we are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of COSA so we will be creating a very special event with a red carpet entry, glitzy decorations, paparazzi and the video cameras will be rollin,” said COSA’s President Lauren Kershner.
Music lovers will enjoy approximately 20 live award winning musical acts all of which will be from the very best songwriters in Central Oregon. There will be a no-host catered dinner and bar available as well.
Tickets are $5 at the door the night of the event. Doors open at 5pm for ticket sales and the show starts at 6pm.
