I am excited to announce an array of new developments Cascade A&E has been developing over the past few months. Our purpose for implementing these changes is to make the magazine more accessible, especially on the digital frontier, to provide the content our readers in Central Oregon are after.
The biggest change has been the redesign redevelopment of our website, www.cascadeAE.com. Along with having a whole new look, the site is completely searchable, is easier to navigate most exciting, now features the full magazine as a downloadable, interactive PDF. You will be able to access past present issues, complete with active links.
The website will start listing the First Friday Art Walk activities as soon at the magazine goes to press (usually a good week or two before First Friday) so art goers can plan their evening accordingly. We are also inviting those who attend Art Walk to submit any photos from the evening to us for consideration in our monthly Art Walk photo page as well as inclusion on the website. As usual, all listings for our Exhibits, First Friday Calendar pages are free (please contact us for guidelines – photo listings are extra).
Cascade A&E has joined the facebook world, can be found at www.facebook.com/pages/Cascade-Arts-Entertainment/196923470358544. I hope to use this platform to have a more dynamic relationship with our readers, I welcome your feedback or suggestions on how to make Cascade A&E your resource for local arts entertainment information.
