Oregon State University – Cascades will host the Oregon State University Chamber Choir for an evening of song and poetry on May 18 at the Tower Theatre. The Chamber Choir, directed by Dr. Steven M. Zielke, is the premier choral ensemble on campus. The auditioned choir is comprised of 40-45 carefully selected students who perform the finest in choral music repertoire.

The Chamber Choir performs each term and tours every spring. Recent tours have included Hawaii, Canada, China and New York — where the Chamber Choir, Bella Voce and the OSU Meistersingers performed at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. This June the Chamber Choir will return to China to perform in Beijing, Chengdu and Zhengzhou.

Emily Carr, the director of the OSU-Cascades MFA in Creative Writing program and poet, will present readings.
