The World MUSE presents the third annual MUSE Camp, a women’s art/yoga/action retreat, hosted at the Caldera Arts Center in Sisters on Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25.
Women and girls aged 10 and up are invited to attend MUSE Camp, offering a number of workshops lead by award-winning authors, songwriters, yoga teachers, artists and activists including:
Julie Keefe, Photographer and Oregon’s first Creative Laureate
Marianne Elliot, author of Zen Under Fire
Naseem Rahka, author of The Crying Tree
Tracy Spring, award-winning songwriter
Melody Moore, Ph.D, Clinical Psychologist, author and speaker
Kerri Kelly, founder of Yoga Catalyst
Tererai Trent, Ph.D., founder of the Tinogona Project
Sharon Knorr, storyteller and founder of SoloSpeak
“We are thrilled to bring an extraordinary group of women together to provide inspiration, community and instruction to all of our camp participants,” said Amanda Stuermer, founder of The World MUSE. “Taking one weekend to create and reconnect in the splendor of Oregon’s Cascades provides an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to ignite their sense of personal purpose.”
In addition to beautiful scenery, yoga, creativity and healing arts classes, participants will have access to recreational opportunities onsite including standup paddle boarding, hiking swimming and cycling.
Onsite lodging will be available at the Caldera Arts Center and catering services will be provided by Joolz.
