Art Adventure Gallery in Madras is holding its annual fundraiser at the amazing Erickson Aircraft Collection Museum and for this special event they invite you to submit a piece of art inspired by flight.

Flight has taken man’s dreams and imagination since he has looked to the sky. Let your imagination fly from nature, man-made or myth to fantasy. The definition is broad… the sky is the limit.

Artwork: Artists may submit one two dimensional piece. Ten jury selected pieces will be displayed at Erickson Aircraft Collection Museum September 10, the day of the first fundraiser, and thereafter will join the remainder of the exhibit at Art Adventure Gallery through September.

Art Sales: Not for sale work accepted on a limited basis. Commission for the gallery is 35% for members and 45% for non-members. Please price work with 35% commission included. Original work only, suitably framed or mounted and ready for display, including identification attached to artwork.

Artists Reception: Join us for an opening reception to be held Thursday, September 15, 5:30-7pm. Artists whose juried work is displayed at the Erickson Aircraft Collection will receive a $20 reduction off the price to attend our fundraiser. Invite your family and friends.

Pick up unsold art: September 30 Between 11am and 5pm.

Jefferson County Arts Association is a 501 (c) 3 doing business as Art Adventure Gallery. We are celebrating our 31st year providing a venue for the arts in Jefferson County. Currently, we are proud to be one of the sites chosen for the Portland 2016 Biennial.
