Beat Beethoven’s 5th 5k & 1-mile race is back this year as a hybrid race — you can participate in-person at 9am on October 10 on the Central Oregon Community College track in Bend, or virtually between October 1 and 14.
The object of the race is to do the 5k in less time than Beethoven’s 5th Symphony ends — about 33 minutes. Beethoven himself will be running, and Bob Shaw of KTVZ will be our emcee.
R&H Construction is sponsoring the free Kids’ Obstacle Course for kids 12 and under at 9:45am on race day. Kids must be registered to participate.
Early sign-up is just $20. The first 20 people from Central Oregon to register will receive a $10 gift card from Old Mill District at packet pick-up. Tech shirts are $15 and are available to order through September 1.
