In Oregon’s Outback at the northern edge of the Great Basin sits PLAYA at Summer Lake, an arts and science residency program in a magical landscape that inspires new works and collaborative efforts in the arts and sciences. A limited number of tickets will be available for our IN A LANDSCAPE concert and the chance to experience this unique part of Oregon with its vast skies and dark nights. Check-in opens at 5:00 pm, and the performance begins at 6:00 pm.

PLAYA is in a very remote location with few services and no cell signal with certain carriers. Please plan ahead with printed directions, bottled water, and ample preparations for extreme weather.

A few on-campus cabins will be available for rental for those who would like to make a full weekend escape to this awe-inspiring landscape. Cabins have full kitchens and are phone and tv free. Click on this link to learn more about the facilities and to book your cabin.
