Old stands of largely cottonwood trees grow within Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Eastern Oregon. Many of the birds that visit Malheur depend on the trees to nest, feed and rest. Join Janelle Wicksdirector of the Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, to learn about the group’s work to ensure a future that supports a wildlife oasis in the High Desert.
