Every day more than 90 Americans are killed with guns…seven of those killed are under the age of 18.
On Saturday, June 2nd, Bend will join communities across the nation and WEAR ORANGE in recognition of those impacted by gun violence.
Come meet survivors, community leaders, students, teachers, and parents in Central Oregon as we join together to honor victims and to demand a future free from gun violence.
This local event at Troy Field in downtown Bend is an opportunity to learn the latest information on what is being done to improve gun safety in Oregon.
The event is family friendly with orange popsicles, balloons and crafts. Free gunlocks are available along with literature on gun safety.
Join the movement…wear orange and be a part of Americans committed to stopping gun violence.
“Wear Orange-Popsicles in The Park” is Saturday, June 2nd from 1-3 pm at Troy Field in downtown Bend on Louisiana Avenue across from McMenamins. Sponsored by Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Search “wear orange bend” on Facebook for more information
