February 21 and 22, includes two nights of high quality, thought-provoking films that celebrate mountain people, culture, adventure, conservation and the power of film to create social change.

 

The event showcases the very best of Telluride’s MountainFilm Festival, an annual film festival in Colorado synonymous with the world’s finest filmmaking. Each night will feature different films.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Environmental Center, a local non-profit organization that works to embed sustainability into daily life in Central Oregon. They help people live, work, play and learn in ways that will ensure a healthy future for people and the planet.

“We are thrilled to bring MountainFilm on Tour to Central Oregon for the 11th year,” says Mike Riley, executive director of The Environmental Center. “These films help to educate, inspire and generate conversation in our community. This year’s line-up is a great mix of adventure and conservation from around the globe.”

The event includes a raffle sponsored by Skjersaa’s Sports Shop and Bend Velo with prizes that include a pair of skis, a J.Livingston bicycle, outdoor gear and additional prize packages from local businesses. Raffle tickets will be sold each night at the event.

Event sponsors include The Gear Fix, Neil Kelly, Rebound Physical Therapy, Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe, Deschutes Brewery, Moementum, Engle Apiary, Skjersaa’s Sports Shop, Bend Velo, the Source and 92/9 FM.
