An award winning artist, Judi Meusborn Williamson, has recently opened a new art studio in Redmond named Judi’s Art Gallery. Williamson is planning to host a number of community art classes taught by herself as well as other local artists members of the High Desert Society of the Arts.
Classes taught will be at the beginning level of watercolor, basic drawing head drawing. Eventually these will lead to more advance classes. Anyone interested in working with other artists may participate in the Open Studio on Wednesdays from 10 to 3.
“I believe we need to keep alive the fine arts by opening this studio I will play my part to help educate the children community of this important endeavor,” states Williamson.
Williamson excels in many of the popular art mediums including acrylics, pastels, pencil, sculpture but her favorite is watercolor. Subject matter varies but she is gifted with the ability to do people horses. For some time, Judi has been working with a rather recent addition to the family of art mediums, BLEACH. She has developed refined a superb technique of using regular house hold bleach on black paper, creating stunning images of horses people.
Williamson studied at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles graduated from Chico State University of California with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art.
