After a one-year hiatus because of the pandemic, Redmond Kiwanis is reviving R’Oktoberfest as a one-day event on Saturday, September 11, from noon to 10pm at Wild Ride Brewing.
The committee will commemorate first responders on the 20th anniversary of 9-11 as part of the event. Noah von Borstel is chairing the event.
The service club will be relying more on food trucks and will be recruiting additional vendors for the celebration. Celebrants will find lots of beer and several ciders on tap and live music throughout the day. Silent auction items will be available for on-line bidding.
It’s a family friendly event, which includes a kids’ zone staffed by volunteers from Energy Youth Basketball. Admission is free.
