The Latino Community Association (LCA) has designed an intriguing special event, the Gala de Oro, a Latin American-inspired fundraising event on April 18 featuring small plates from local restaurants, signature margaritas, live music dancing with 11-piece Conjunto Alegre from Portl , a unique silent auction several fun surprises.

This is a new event for the Latino Community Association to raise funds needed to launch their new Family Empowerment Center. County Commissioner, Tammy Baney, will be a key presenter. “This Gala will be unique for Central Oregon. We invite the community to join us in celebrating Latino culture helping LCA advance our mission,” said LCA board President Evelia S oval.

The April 18 event will take place at the downtown Boys & Girls Club of Bend from 6-10pm. Tickets can be purchased online at Bendticket.com or at any LCA office in Bend, Redmond or Madras.
