Central Oregon Community College’s Latino program is sponsoring a Latino Dance Festival on Saturday, March 7 in Wille Hall in the Campus Center on the Bend Campus.

Andres ‘Andy’ Garcia of the Latin Dance Academy of Bend, in collaboration with local dance instructors Lee Ann O’Neill, Elizabeth Weigand and Gaby Hernandez, will teach ladies’ salsa styling, fun footwork and partner combinations in salsa, bachata and merengue in one-hour workshops from noon to 4:45pm. There will be a social dance and performances from 6:30-9pm.

The minimum fee for the day is $5. All proceeds will benefit the Latino Club Scholarship Fund.
