Opening Reception with Artist on First Friday of January
January 1, 2017 (Bend, Oregon) – At Liberty, a year-round dedicated arts spaceand cultural hub in Downtown Bend, is pleased to announce their new exhibition: Alejandro Salazar: Selected Works. The exhibition will open January 5, 2018 with an Artist’s Reception during Downtown Bend’s First Friday Event.
At Liberty is delighted to bring Alejandro Salazar’s work to Bend. The Selected Works will feature pieces from the past five years roaming among different media including painting, drawing,and mixed media. His art has been well-received in New York, Mexico, Miamiand Northern Californiaand this exhibition marks his first in the Pacific Northwest.
Bornand raised in Colima, Mexico, Salazar says his “intent is to leave his mark in the world with an honest exploration of emotion translated into paintings, drawings, mixed mediaand prints.” He currently livesand paints in Northern California.

Alejandro Salazar: Selected Works will be on display through February 2018. True to its mission the space will continue to provide a home to three creative non-profits (Arts & Culture Alliance of Central Oregon, ScaleHouseand World Muse) as well as be available as an event venue.
