PLAYA is excited to host PLAYA Presents. All are welcome on Saturday April 16 from 2-4pm in the Commons at PLAYA, 47531 Hwy 31 Summer Lake for open studios, readings and light reception. PLAYA is located between mileposts 81 and 82 on HWY 31. Programs are free and open to the public.
PLAYA Presents is a monthly series of presentations by visual, literary and performing artists and scientists. April featured artists include, Barbara Foster (Printmaking/CA), Farnaz Fatemi (Poetry/CA), Tallmadge Doyle (Printmaking/OR) and Noah Styker (Birder/Non-fiction/OR).
Beginning with this April event PLAYA is partnering with the Libraries of Eastern Oregon (LEO) through an ArtPlace America grant and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce to provide funding for bus transportation to the event from the Main Library in Lakeview.

Funding for this program is provided by the Libraries of Eastern Oregon (LEO) through an ArtPlace America grant. LEO is a nonprofit organization that serves libraries in its 15-county service area with programs, online services, and advocacy. Funding from the ArtPlace America grant aims to provide arts-based programming at libraries through various hands-on workshops, presentations, and art exhibits for patrons of all ages.
PLAYA is supported in part with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, Oregon Arts Commission and Oregon Cultural Trust.
