Redmond Passport to the Arts

The Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places with the City of Redmond will host the second annual Passport to the Arts celebration Saturday, August 17 at Centennial Park

The event is from 10am-4pm and will take place in downtown Redmond’s Centennial Park. Passport to the Arts will feature local art vendors, the unveiling of four new sculptures in Redmond’s outdoor public art gallery, “Art Around the Clock” and live music. The event will be conducted in conjunction with the Drifters 20th Annual Harvest Run, and should be fun for the whole family.

The Passport the Arts Event will also provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in the development of the next public art installation. Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places will be collecting handprints and signatures for a public art installation in Sam Johnson Park, as part of the playground improvement project. All ages are invited to participate. Leave your handprints and become a part of a permanent art installation.
