Christine Olson is an abstract painter based in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco in 1997. Christine has shown her work in solo and group shows in Chicago, Boulder, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Portland and Seattle.
Christine comes from a family of creatives and she was allowed to start painting with acrylics when she was quite young. It gave her the foundation to explore art with freedom and confidence.
Color and balance are two things she strives to master with each piece. Christine is inspired by meditation, nature and autobiographical abstract expression. Her finished sizes range from mini 4×4 squares to large 60×72 on up. She is also open to mural work and abstract commissions. Christine works primarily with acrylics on wood or canvas.
You can find Christine Olson online on Facebook, Etsy, Twitter and Seattle based Artsyo.com. Christine also has a brick and mortar studio open to the public Tuesday through Sunday in a gallery in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood at Venue . 5408 22nd St, NW, Seattle 98107.
