C.E. Lovejoy’s Halloween Carnival – Spooky Fall Fun for All Ages on Sunday, October 28.
Pumpkins and ponies and prizes, oh my! On Sunday, October 28 from 12-4pm, C.E. Lovejoy’s Brookswood Market will host its popular Halloween Carnival, complete with costume contest, a haunted hay maze, bobbing for apples,a petting zoo and pony rides from DD Ranch.
The spooktacular, annual event will give Brookswood and area neighbors an opportunity to give their costumes a test run before Halloween trick-or-treating the following week.
“The seasonal fun will also include more of our fall favorites, like made-to-order caramel dipped apples, pumpkin carving and fresh cooked barbecue food,” said Diana Franko, C.E. Lovejoy’s Manager. “Costume contest judging begins at 3pm and there will be prizes for winners in different age groups. Dress up your families, friends and pets and join us! The contest, hay maze and apple bobbing are free. Purchase a pumpkin and carve it for free that day as well.”
DD Ranch will bring some ranching spirit to the festivities site before, during and after the Halloween Carnival, from 11am–5pm with their pony rides, petting zoo and farm products for sale. More information about the ranch itself, located in Terrebonne, can be found at http://ddranch.net.
