Friday March 20 a guaranteed fun night of dancing to get you in the mood for spring! Opening for The Quick will be Jive Coulis.
The Quick & Easy Boys are a power-trio out of Portl , Oregon who creates their own blend of rock roll. Imagine the Minutemen, the Police B of Gypsies rolled into one.
Formed in 2005, The Quick & Easy Boys quickly made a name for themselves in Eugene, Oregon before relocating to Portl becoming a renown nationally touring act. Their shows are an interactive party with electrifying stage antics profound musical moments as the trio pours out every ounce of their energy, leaving nothing behind. The b has gained the reputation for moving a crowd all-night long whether it be a big festival or a tiny watering hole. The core members – – Sean Badders on vocals bass, Jimmy Russell on vocals guitar, Casey Anderson on drums vocals – – have continued to evolve musically… audiences continue their enthusiastic calling of “Yeah Bud!” at every show.
Jive Coulis
Eric Leadbetter Jordan Mack started Jive Coulis with Tyler Hale back in 2005. They released their first demo in 2006 which was recorded at immersion studios in boulder, CO. They then released their first album, self titled Jive Coulis, in 2008.
They toured all over Colorado for three years before deciding to move out west to Oregon. On the trip out west, the gents joined forces with the Teton songwriter tour, played gigs in, WY, ID, OR CA. After the tour they relocated to Ashl , Oregon where they reformed Jive Coulis are now touring from the Rockies to the west coast.
They released their second album, sauce, in 2012. They are due to release their third album in spring 2014. They are now joined be the talented Collin Braley on drumset, which is bringing the music to an all time high. the driving force behind Braley’s drums, invites people to boogie thrash all night long! They have developed a unique rock style that can only be heard at a Jive Coulis concert.
Their veggie oil powered tour bus, Sharleena, has seen many states is ready for many more miles of touring this great country. Many people have described Jive Coulis’s music as freeing wild. Check out a show you will see why.
The show kicks off at 8pm doors open at 7pm.
