On Saturday, March 8 at 9pm the Volcanic Theatre Pub presents an evening of indie music featuring The Cabin Project along with The Beautiful Trainwrecks and Wilderness. Music starts at 9pm and the doors open at 8pm. Only $5 for all three bands, all ages welcome.
The Cabin Project describes themselves as an orchestral indie pop trio. Weaving together three-part harmonies, guitar, drums and expansive string sections The Cabin Project creates a catchy, warm, anthemic indie sound. Peppered with viola and percussion, and citing influences such as The National, Bon Iver, Feist and Mates of State, they recently released their second album, Heliotrope and have been touring in support of the album. Don’t miss their last stop on the Northwest tour.
Perfectly complimenting The Cabin Project is Bend’s own indie band Wilderness, fronted by long time musician Jared Nelson Smith, along with Portland’s The Beautiful Trainwrecks, both with their own brand of driving, anthemic indie rock and roots rock.

On Sunday, March 9th at 7pm the Volcanic Theatre Pub presents a one-time screening of the snowboarding film The Art of Flight.
The film is open to all ages and tickets are $5 at the door. Authentic Texas BBQ will be available for purchase from Little Bit of Texas during the dinner hour.
Presented by Red Bull Media House, in association with Brain Farm Digital Cinema The Art of Flight, is a Curt Morgan film that was two years in the making. Not your typical action sports films, action and adventure mix as iconic snowboarder Travis Rice and friends redefine the sport of snowboarding. The viewer is along for the new tricks and unexplored territories as well as the inevitable avalanches, accidents and wrong-turns that are bound to happen in some of the most remote mountain territories in the world. Come down to your local theatre pub and get immersed in the beauty and danger in The Art of Flight.
